Earlier this week, we looked at NYC apartments under $75,000. Today, we bring you properties in the Hamptons for under $300,000.
Consider this: if you purchase the most expensive property from each of these articles, you could have an apartment in New York City and a place in the Hamptons for under $375,000. If you opt for the most affordable option on each list, you could do it for approximately $220,000.
While the properties are mostly on the up-and-coming North Fork, there are a few South Fork properties including East Quogue, Fire Island Pines, and Montauk.
Two in particular stand out. One is the 10,000sq.ft. parcel of land at 305 Fay Court in Mattituck, just inland from the waterfront. The other is 236 South Edgemere #413 in Montauk - although it requires a cash purchase, the price was recently dropped 25% (by $100,000).
Without further ado, here are the ten most affordable market-rate properties in the Hamptons.
